Navigating Change

Change is hard, because it's not just doing things differently, it's about learning to undo how you've always done things. Ready to start a new diet? You also have to teach your body and mind to crave different things. Shifting your mindset? It's also about un-believing all the truths you've told yourself (especially if they aren't true). I recently moved to a new home, and while I'm learning the ins/outs of the new space, it's also about challenging all the patterns I had established - where I drive/shop, what time I wake up, when do I time my yoga practice? Trying to live somewhere new and do things the same is like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Everything is different, the flow is different, and by default, I'M now different.
And with self-grace, calling on support, and allowing space for things to unfold and become something new, I'm not resisting the flow of life, I'm merging with it.
Where might there be places you are unconsciously creating an energetic backflow by holding resistance to change?
This reflection alone can be impactful...
And remember that you don't have to do change alone. If you're looking for support, reach out to connect with me! Through Reiki, Yoga Therapy and Coaching, I'd love to help you find that new balance and rhythm, so you feel back in the flow!
Wishing you a spacious mental week ahead! Most sincerely ~ Jen Rizza
